Here are the vulture options:
Vulture Save Options for 6.16.2026
- Kevin Ginkel (ARI): Sewald has pitched in back-to-back games.
- Jason Adam (SD): Reports indicate Miller will be out for the St. Louis series, leaving Adam atop the hierarchy. If the team plays matchups in the late innings, Adrian Morejon will also be in play.
- Travis Adams (MIN): Rarely does a Twins reliever get into the options, but Gómez and Morris have pitched in consecutive contests, and Orze logged 1.2 innings yesterday.
Vulture Save Stashes for 6.17.2026
- Los Angeles Dodgers: If Scott pitches tonight, it will be back-to-back appearances. However, fantasy players must monitor who does not get used in a setup capacity for availability on Wednesday.
- Bryan Abreu (HOU): If Hader records a save tonight, he has not worked on consecutive days since being activated.

Taking over at the bottom of the eighth with a runner on and two outs, Yoendrys Gómez induced an inning-ending flyout. Returning for the ninth, he retired the Rangers’ 3-4-5 lineup pocket, including a game-ending strikeout for his seventh save, sixth in as many tries for the Twins. He threw 15 pitches (66.7 Strike%) and produced one whiff.

Through eight appearances in June, he’s posted a 1.228 WHIP with eight strikeouts against three walks (16.1 K-BB%) across 7.1 innings and four saves. Only Jhoan Duran has recorded more saves in this timeframe.
- Eric Orze allowed a hit and recorded a strikeout over 1.2 scoreless innings, securing his seventh hold.
- Andrew Morris fired a clean sixth, striking out two for his ninth hold.
- Taylor Rogers collected his third win, stranding a runner and retiring Joc Pederson via strikeout, his only batter faced.
Trusting Gómez comes with some apprehension, but those searching for saves will absorb the risk. Currently, he owns a 3.96 ERA, accompanied by a 4.36 SIERA and a 5.42 xERA. His quality of contact should be a warning sign. He’s posted an 11 percent barrel rate and is allowing hard contact on 40 percent of his batted balls. Hope lies in his slider, which produces a 15.9 percent swinging-strike rate and a .151 weighted on-base average. Treat him like a rodeo bull if taking the plunge for saves, if he knocks you off, dust yourself off and move on. For now, he’s the preferred save share, with risk tethered to contact and his underlying data. Here are his splits this season:

Updated Hierarchy: Yoendrys Gómez | Andrew Morris | Anthony Banda
There were only two other saves from this slate:
Arizona Diamondbacks – Although he allowed a two-out, solo home run by Donovan Walton, Paul Sewald closed out his 18th save in an eventual one-run margin over the Angels.

He threw 20 pitches (60 Strike%) and generated five whiffs (25 SwStr%) while recording two strikeouts. He’s converted his last eight save opportunities, along with two wins, posting a 0.50 WHIP with 12 strikeouts versus two walks (25.6 K-BB%) over 12 innings.
- Jonathan Loáisiga secured his fifth hold, retiring the side against the 3-4-5 hitters on eight pitches.
Hierarchy Remains: Paul Sewald | Kevin Ginkel | Juan Morillo
Los Angeles Dodgers – Shutting the door on his eighth save, Tanner Scott fired a clean top of the ninth and recorded a strikeout, preserving a one-run lead against the Rays’ 8-9-1 lineup pocket. He threw 13 pitches (8 strikes – 61.5 Strike%) and induced one whiff. Through six appearances in June, he has a loss and three saves with a 0.938 WHIP and eight strikeouts without a walk (33.3 K-BB%) across 5.1 innings.
- Alex Vesia stranded an inherited runner while retiring his only batter, Cedric Mullins, on a flyout at the top of the eighth for his 11th hold.
- Will Klein gave up a leadoff single by Ryan Vilade during two-thirds of the eighth, securing his ninth hold.
- Kyle Hurt collected his second win, giving up a hit and striking out two in a scoreless seventh, ahead of his team taking the lead at the bottom of the frame.

Chicago Cubs – While making his tenth appearance since his last save on May 14, Daniel Palencia opened the top of the ninth with a leadoff walk against Edouard Julien, received a visit from Craig Counsell and the trainer, then retired the next three Rockies via strikeout, keeping his team within one run. Courtesy of a walk-off rally, he collected his second win. Palencia threw 20 pitches (70 Strike%) and induced one whiff.

It’s nothing catastrophic, but his velocity was down slightly in this appearance.
- Caleb Thielbar suffered his third blown save, letting his only inherited runner score while giving up a go-ahead three-run home run by Cole Carrigg, putting two earned runs on his ledger.
- Jacob Webb worked a scoreless seventh and let his only batter reach at the top of the eighth, resulting in an earned run and his fifth hold.
- Phil Maton allowed one of two inherited runners to score, issuing a walk and hitting a batter during one-third of the sixth, getting tagged with his first blown save.
Hierarchy Remains: Daniel Palencia | Jacob Webb | Caleb Thielbar
Colorado Rockies – Forced into action at the bottom of the eighth, Juan Mejia stranded both runners, striking out Michael Busch. However, when he came back for the ninth, Seiya Suzuki drew a leadoff walk, Ian Happ reached on a fielder’s choice, and an error by Mejia put runners on the corners, prompting his removal. Seth Halvorsen replaced him and served up a game-tying RBI single by Pedro Ramirez, and issued a bases-loaded walk-off, RBI walk to Matt Shaw, suffering his first blown save. Mejia absorbed his sixth loss while being credited with his fifth hold.
- Victor Vodnik was awarded his first hold, giving up a hit, an earned run, and two walks during two-thirds of the eighth.
- Jaden Hill stranded two runners, issuing a walk and striking out two in the seventh.
