Going forward, Monday will be the preferred day for rankings updates. With this in mind, and the first full weekend of MLB games completed, it’s time for a mini-reset in the rankings. These remain fluid and could be dated by the end of Monday’s full slate. However, the fantasy community loves them, so here we go.
Relievers on the Rise
- Lucas Erceg (KC): Following an epic meltdown in Atlanta, Carlos Estévez was seen the next day in a walking boot, which coincided with Erceg securing his first save of the season.
- Trevor Megill (MIL): Locked down his first save on Sunday while recording a 40 percent swinging strike rate, and if his team challenged a called, he may have struck out the side.
- Clayton Beeter (WSH): His command may struggle at times, but he nailed down his first save attempt against the Cubs on the road, and moves up the rankings while many struggled out of the gate.
