Minnesota Twins — Brandon Kintzler earned his first major league save on Wednesday night; in remarks after the game, Paul Molitor said that the team would be “backing off” Kevin Jepsen in the closer role, and using a combination of Kintzler and Fernando Abad in his place. Matchups will determine whether lefty Abad or righty Kintzler gets the call. Trevor May and Ryan Pressly are likely to serve as junior members of the committee.
